A 14-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after being struck by a car in Kariong early this morning.
Around 1am, police were called to Kariong Hill following reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
The 59-year-old male driver of the car stopped and assisted, before emergency services arrived.
The girl was taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
