POLICE SEARCH CASINO PROPERTY FOR GOLD COAST MURDER VICTIM
Queensland Police have broadened their search into northern New South Wales, in the hunt for the body of a murdered father.
A property at Casino is being searched for the remains of 37-year-old Greg Dufty, who was last seen on the Gold Coast in July last year.
It’s alleged the father-of-two was murdered over a drug debt.
Three men – Aaron Crawford, Lionel Patea and Liam Bliss – have faced court, charged with Mr Dufty’s murder.
A fourth man, Clinton Stockham, has been charged with accessory to murder.
A bail hearing at the Supreme Court in December heard Mr Crawford allegedly drove Mr Dufty into the Gold Coast hinterland to bash him as retribution for stealing cannabis.
It’s then alleged he and his co-accused beat Mr Dufty to death before disposing his body.
