STALENBURG IN THE REGION TO ENCOURAGE FEMALE CRICKET PARTICIPATION

After enjoying a break-out summer, Naomi Stalenberg has hit the road, stopping in Tamworth today to inspire a new batch of girls to pick up the willow.
The Northern Inland Cricket Council is developing a girls only inter-town competition.
“When I was growing up, we didn’t really have much of that. I was always the only girl in a boys team playing my cricket. So they’re really working hard, and trying to get a lot of girls involved.”
The Australian representative will visit Nundle tomorrow.
