The last round of the 2016 Far North Coast Cricket Competition has produced some upsets.
While competition leaders Cudgen easily dismissed the Casino Cavaliers, second placed Lennox weren’t able to best Tintenbar East-Ballina.
Pottsville went down to the seventh placed Ballina Bears, and Alstonville defeated Marist Brothers Lismore, after the side struggled with the bat.
Not one player managed more then 20 runs in their first innings, while Ashley Simes, Luke Collings and Kaleb Auld were left to steady the ship in the second.
Despite the loss, the side will continue into the finals.
