Today a Moree resident blew out her birthday candles for the 109th time, surrounded by five generations of her family.
Edith McDonald moved to Moree in 1947, and is being studied by Boston University as part of their research into longevity.
But she’s pretty forthcoming with her secret, putting it down to “no cigarettes, no alcohol and no bad men.”
