Lennox Head’s Adam Melling will meet fellow Aussie Julian Wilson, and Michel Bourez in his round one heat.
While Stu Kennedy will clash with reigning champion, Filipe Toledo and Brazilian Jadson Andre.
Both surfers are injury replacements.
