RIDE FOR SICK KIDS ROLLS INTO NEWCASTLE

After five days on the road, the 12th annual Ride for Sick Kids rolled across the finish line at Newcastle today.
Weary cyclists braved the elements as they rode 550 kilometres in support of Ronald McDonald House.
” Heat waves up in the Armidale Tamworth region and then when we got down here, a bit closer around Scone we had freezing condition where we were all really cold and have cross winds of about 58 ks an hour”
While donations are still being counted, organisers are hoping to raise $300,000 dollars.
