THIRD COACHING CHANGE FOR THE AXEMEN

The Group Two League season hasn’t even started and the Orara Valley Axemen have a new captain-coach, the team’s third replacement this year.

The chopping and changing in recent weeks now sees Willie Lockwood joining the ranks.

Lockwood’s signing has attracted the likes of Ant Cowan, who helped bring the South Grafton Rebels to victory last year.

Round one of the Group Two season kicks off on April 4.
