Tamworth’s representative netball schedule gets underway this weekend, with six teams going to Coffs Harbour for a pre season carnival.
Ranging from Under 12s to Opens, it allows coaches to test their credentials ahead of the State Championships later this year.
“Especially our little 12s. They haven’t experienced anything like this yet. It’s going to be a real eye opener.”
Players can still register for the upcoming winter competition, with Tamworth Netball hoping to reach 100 teams.
“If we get them young, and get them interested and they enjoy the game, they learn the skills, we’ve got future representative players.”\
