An 18-year-old driver has been admitted to hospital, after allegedly crashing his car during a police pursuit on the Central Coast overnight.
Just after midnight on Friday, police say officers attempted to pull over a Subaru WRX on Main Road at Toukley.
The driver failed to stop and a pursuit ensued.
Shortly after, the car left the road on on Budgewoi Road at Noraville and crashed into a tree.
The driver was treated at the scene before being taken to John Hunter Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations continue.
