PIPELINE OFFICIALLY OPENED

Willow Tree’s long term water supply has been secured after years of battling drought thanks to a $4.8 million pipeline, which was officially opened today.
It’s been online for a couple of months, pumping water 16 kilometres from Quirindi’s supply to the village, at about seven litres per second.
Council is now lobbying the state and federal government for $24-million to connect Quipolly Dam to Werris Creek and Quirindi.
