A man is on the run following two armed robberies in Newcastle today.
A business on Belford Street at Broadmeadow was the first to be targeted, with the second robbery taking place about an hour later at Honeysuckle.
Police say the man entered the convenience store on Wharf Road at around 12:30, armed with a knife, before fleeing with cash.
Officers say the bandit – who’s aged in his 50s – changed his clothing for each raid.
