STAFF THREATENED WITH SYRINGE IN ALLEGED MEDOWIE SHOPLIFTING INCIDENT
A man is accused of using a syringe to threaten staff at a Medowie supermarket during a confrontation.
About 7:30 last night, police allege he attempted to leave the supermarket on Peppertree Road without paying for his groceries, before threatening workers with a syringe.
The 29-year-old from Karuah was later arrested and charged with six counts of common assault, among other offences.
He was scheduled to appear in court today.
