A decision on parking fees at Tamworth Airport has been deferred.
Council maintains it should implement a user pay system, however it wants to further consult businesses operating within the airport precinct regarding access to the car parks.
“We thought we were getting pretty close to getting over the line but I think you know this will be a valuable step in getting a better outcome for the airport and the city.”
It’s hoped the matter will be resolved within the month.
