A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with almost a dozen offences overnight, after he was allegedly found with drugs and a firearm in Chisholm, near Maitland.
Just after 10:00pm last night, highway patrol pulled over a speeding vehicle and conducted a search of the car.
Officers allegedly located 60 grams of methylamphetamine, a custom made .22 calibre pistol, ammunition and $3,000 cash.
He was refused bail and will appear in Maitland Local Court Today.
