A medicinal cannabis farm in the state’s North West is a step closer to reality, with the proposed site launched this morning.
The project is the brainchild of campaigner Lucy Haslam and her business partner Troy Langman, and will be located on a 47-hectare property in the Peel Valley near Tamworth.
It’s still in the preliminary stages, pending a licence and government approval.
The farm will also be named ‘Dan Eden’ in honour of Lucy’s son, who passed away from bowel cancer last February.
