HUNTERS PREPARE FOR HAWKS VISIT ON REUNION NIGHT

They’re at opposite ends of the Waratah Basketball League ladder, but the high flying Hunters’ men won’t be taking it easy against Illawarra at Broadmeadow on Saturday night.
“We’re just going to play them how we play anybody else. It’s great having reunion night and having a big crowd cheering for us.”
In a major boost, the Hunters women will welcome Katie-Rae Ebzery back from national team duties.
In her absence, Susie Walmsley stepped up to top score for Newcastle last weekend, as the girls maintained their unbeaten start to the season.
“I think we’re just very balanced, we also have a lot of hidden weapons. We play well together and use each other’s strengths.”
