For many of us, Anzac Day involves distant stories of someone else’s sacrifice and loss.
But for family and friends of Private Nathan Bewes, killed in Afghanistan in 2010, it’s an event much closer to home.
Today, the former Murwillumbah resident was honoured with a new memorial.
