The recruitment drive at the Newcastle Jets continues with the club today announcing the signing of former Young Socceroo, Devante Clut, from Brisbane.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was rarely used by the Roar this season, playing a combined 72 minutes in eight substitute appearances.
He says he’s heading to Newcastle to try to secure a permanent spot in Scott Miller’s starting 11.
The Jets attempted to sign Clut midway through the current season, but the move was blocked by Brisbane.
