The undefeated Rosellas have dominated selections in the Newcastle Rebels senior squad for this year’s New South Wales Country Championships.
Nine players from Wests were picked in the 20-man outfit, which will begin its campaign against the Greater Northern Tigers at Wyong on Saturday week.
Ladder leaders Souths and defending champions Lakes will each supply four players.
Newcastle hasn’t won the country title since 2012.
The Rebels were beaten by Canberra in the semi finals of last year’s competition.
