MULTICULTURALISM CELEBRATED AT COMMUNITY EXPO

The Hunter has welcomed some new arrivals, with the first three families seeking refuge from Syria, re-homed in the region.
Meanwhile, the Multicultural Neighbourhood Centre hosted its sixth expo at Lambton today.
The event connects residents from a variety of non-English speaking backgrounds with vital support services.
“We would like people, especially new arrivals to get to know what services are available for the them in the area and break down the barriers,” said the centre’s manager Amany George.
