A woman is lucky to be alive, after a truck rolled on top of her car in Tumbi Umbi this afternoon.
The truck was unable to stop at the intersection of Tumbi Road and the Ridgeway at 12.40pm, colliding with a Toyota Yaris.
A 48-year-old woman was trapped in her vehicle for half an hour before being rescued.
She suffered a broken wrist and leg and was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are investigating the incident.
