There’s been calls to see operation hours extended at covid-19 testing clinics across the north-west.
The push comes after the State Government confirmed yesterday that an unknowingly infectious person had visited the Western Region.
Despite a high demand for testing, New England clinics are only operating under restricted weekday hours.
Local MP, Adam Marshall, has asked Hunter New England Health to consider increasing testing times before the region experiences any unexpected surges.
