The East Coast Dolphins have a good reason so train extra hard this week, after swimming into the Country Women’s League Tag final.
An 18 to 10 victory over Southern Stars secured the team’s final showdown against the Central Coast this Saturday.
The side will be looking to improve its completion rates ahead of the big game.
“Our completions were probably around sixty percent on the weekend, we had a period of about ten minutes where we dropped the ball probably on the first or second.”
Coach Scott Jacklin says making the final is a massive achievement.
“I think it’s important for our group, we’re a smaller group, there’s not a lot of money around the area and we don’t go great in too many of the sides.”
