TAMWORTH MOVES ON TO THE NEXT ROUND

Tamworth Public School’s girls football team has moved into the fourth round of the state knockout, with a three-nil win today.

Playing against Timbumburi, the blue-and-golds went on the attack, causing problems for their opponents’ four defenders.

Striker Miriam Barber starred for Tamworth, finding the back of the net twice.

Timbumburi had its chances, but couldn’t find a way through.

The next match has to be played by June 28.
