A man has been charged over the stabbing of a woman at Windale overnight.
Police allege the 43-year-old was involved in an argument at a Sturt Street home at around 7.30 last night, when the woman tried to intervene.
As a result the victim suffered a stab wound to her hand.
The accused has been charged with reckless wounding and will appear before Belmont court next month.
