A much-needed upgrade to a small soccer club’s grounds and amenities has been finally made possible, after years of lobbying.
$15,000 worth of state funding will be put towards seating, shelter and bike racks for Tinonee Soccer Club.
It’s a significant win for the organisation – whose members make up nearly a quarter of the village’s population.
“It’s a great relief to see that we can now actually just get in, do the work, get the infrastructure in and enjoy the facilities just like we deserve as much as any other people in the Mid North Coast,” the club says.
