CAMPAIGN CALLS FOR ‘CLIMATE SAFE’ VOTE

Local environmental groups have launched a new Federal Election campaign, aimed at getting climate action on the policy agenda.
The ‘Vote Safe Climate’ website includes comparisons of where the major Cowper and Lyne candidates stand on the issue.
“we really need much more stronger policies and this is the whole message of our campaign – for people to think before they vote, and vote for a party or candidate that is going to realistic and effective about this problem,” Climate Change Australia Hastings President Harry Creamer said.
The campaign is a joint collaboration between Climate Change Australia and the Coffs Coast Climate Action Group.
