A 17-year-old bicycle rider has suffered head and shoulder injuries,
after being hit by a car at South Tamworth last night.
Police said the male cyclist was at fault of the accident on Kent Street, after riding his bike across the path of an oncoming car just before six o’clock.
He was treated for minor injuries at the scene, before being transferred to Tamworth Hospital.
He’s received infringement notices for causing the collision.
