ADAMSTOWN AND OLYMPIC SHARE THE HONOURS IN NPL

In the Hunter’s NPL competition, Edgeworth has moved into top spot with a win over Weston.

The Jets Youth beat the Blues and Valentine upset Maitland.

At Adamstown, both sides made a slow start, before Kane Goodchild broke the deadlock for Hamilton.

Shortly after, Chris Berlin earned a penalty for Rosebud, which was hammered home by Alex Read.

The home side had plenty of good chances in the second half, Daniel Yaxley set up Thom Lino.

Danny Ireland then ensured Olympic would stay on level terms.

Dayne Pawlik and Daniel Bird almost came to blows and were lucky to escape punishment after this confrontation.

When play resumed Leo Bertos missed his chance to take the three points.

Before Paul Bitz ensured it would be honours even at full time.
