MARCHING KOALAS BOUND FOR EUROPE

More than a hundred of the Hunter’s best young musicians are on their way to Europe, for an intensive two-week tour.
After farewell hugs from family members, the Marching Koalas boarded coaches in Newcastle this morning, bound for Sydney Airport.
“This trip has actually been two years in the planning since our last one so it’s a huge trip. 13 performances in 15 days,” said band manager, Geoff Lynch.
The band will perform at iconic locations in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
“To go and perform with all the amazing muscians that are going to be over there, it just makes you feel really good,” said band member Brooke Harvey.
