MORE PROTESTS IN FRONT OF JOYCE’S OFFICES
Just days out from the federal election, and Barnaby Joyce’s Tamworth offices are fast becoming a soapbox for disgruntled voters.
The state of the region’s meat processing industry took centre stage today, as unions called for a cap on live exports.
Still on the election and some members of the Tamworth community are taking the campaign into their own hands, handing out special how-to-vote cards.
The cards were created from a questionnaire by the community, which highlights regional issues like the NBN, education and land and water use.
New England candidates were then scored based on their policies.
The scorecard was created by the Voices for New England campaign, which features groups including, Lock the Alliance and other environmental groups.
