TWO MEN CHARGED FOLLOWING MACHETE ATTACK
Two men have been charged, following an alleged machete attack at Windale where a 26-year-old man had his finger severed.
Police say on June 16, the 26-year-old went to a home at Balemo Crescent with a 37-year-old man.
He was allegedly struck three times with a machete by another man inside the house.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital.
This week, a 22-year-old man and the 37-year-old were both charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
