GLEN INNES TEACHER PUTS HAND UP FOR UPPER HOUSE
Glen Innes’ Mercurius Goldstein has put his name forward as a potential New South Wales Greens Upper House representative, a position vacated by the death of John Kaye.
Having run as a candidate in last year’s state election, the high school teacher has a history in the Northern Tablelands…
And although he did struggle in last weekend’s Federal election, he says he remains passionate about politics.
“Continuous campaigning to limit global warming, to build a 100% renewable New South Wales and a carbon neutral Australia.”
Greens members have until August 12 to cast their vote in the pre-selection.
