A police officer had to be cut free from his car following a crash on Gold Coast this morning.
The vehicle was parked on the side of the M1, when it was struck by a passing truck just before 11:30.
While one officer was able to free himself, the impact of the crash trapped the driver, with emergency services called in to help free him.
The two officers along with the male truck driver were taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.
