While there’s speculation Greg Bird is being chased by the Knights for next season, today a group of players from the East Maitland club turned up at Titans training to watch the former Origin star.
No word yet on whether they were successful in encouraging him to return to the Hunter.

Mitchell Hughes started as a tape editor in Newcastle in 1999. He became a reporter in 2004, working in Lismore and on the Gold Coast.
