Hundreds packed Tamworth’s new Mountain Bike Park for its grand opening.
Most rode the novice trails and took in the scenery, while a select few tested themselves on the Black Diamond Trail, which has been labelled one of the most difficult in Australia.
But the highlight of the day was a race between Deputy Mayor Russell Webb and Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson.
For the record, Mr Anderson took out the battle of the politicians.
