Police are looking for a man over a violent assault at Hamilton. A 44-year-old male was punched to the ground outside a hotel on Beaumont Street just before midnight, then kicked several times.
The victim suffered neck injuries and was treated at John Hunter Hospital.
He’s since been discharged.
Anyone who can help police with their investigation is being asked to come forward.
