TWO TRAGEDIES ON CENTRAL COAST ROADS
Two people are dead and several are injured following two separate car accidents on the Central Coast in less than 24 hours.
In the first incident, police say a 67-year-old Jilliby man died in hospital of the injuries he sustained after crashing his Hyundai sedan into trees on Sunday morning at Alison.
In the second, a 17-year-old boy died after the car he was in ploughed into a power pole in Wamberal.
Police say the teen was treated by paramedics but died at the scene shortly after the crash on Sunday night.
Another 16-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition while another two males and a female, also believed to be teenagers, were treated at the scene.
