OYSTERS MAY BE SALVAGED FROM FORSTER FIRE
The owners of a Mid North Coast oyster business, which was badly damaged by fire overnight, say they may be able to salvage most of the product.
Graham Barclay Oysters on Little Street at Forster became engulfed in flames just after 11pm, in a blaze police are treating as suspicious.

More than 6,000 trays and 1,000 baskets of oysters were involved in the fire, but owners believe they’re still alive and will be put into Wallace Lake later this afternoon for salvaging.
It took several fire crews more than an hour to extinguish the flames, but most of the structure of the building is still intact.
The third generation business is the largest supplier of Sydney Rock Oysters in the country.
