A new weather system is moving in. The high level cloud increased across the Greater Hunter today as northern NSW and SE QLD soaked up the sunshine and mild winter conditions. The cloud cover will spread further north and from tomorrow rain will develop. Moderate to heavy falls will build across the Hunter. On Wednesday the heavy rain band will move onto the Northern Rivers and SE QLD. Flash flooding and general flooding may be possible as an intense low forms. The NW should see some good rain totals accumulate over the two day period.
