New South Wales Parliament has a new speaker, with Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch temporarily appointed to the position today.
Mr Crouch, a first term politician, says it’s an honour and surprise to be selected for the role.
He takes over from the Honourable Shelly Hancock who served in the position since 2011.
