MOTHER PLEADS NOT GUILTY AFTER HORROR CRASH NEAR TAREE
A mother has pleaded NOT guilty over a crash, in which the car she was driving, with her three daughters onboard, was hit by a train on a level crossing north of Taree.
The 30-year-old faced Newcastle Local Court today over the April incident.
Her then seven-year-old and two-year-old daughters suffered critical head injuries, while she and her five-year-old escaped with minor injuries.
She’s been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and one of negligent driving.
Today the woman pleaded NOT guilty to all charges.
The case is due back in court later this month.
