PAIR CHARGED OVER STRING OF BREAK AND ENTERS

A teenage man and a woman in her 30’s have been charged over a string of break and enters.
From June 11 until August 5, police have been investigating a number of alleged break and enters in Taree, Singleton, and East Lake Macquarie.
Their investigations lead them to execute a search warrant at a home on Cadaga Road, Gateshead around 8am on Friday.
During the search, police seized property, alleged to have been stolen.
An 18-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were arrested at the location.
The man was charged with with a number of offences including seven counts of break, enter and steal, and a revocation of a parole warrant was also served on the man.
The woman was charged with six counts of fraud, receiving stolen property, and breach of bail.
