A memorial is expected to be organised for Mid North Coast union player, John Tavaga.
The 29 year old passed away in New Zealand, after suffering serious brain injuries during a motorbike crash in the Cook Islands just over a week ago.
Wauchope Thunder says he was very witty and had an infectious attitude which brought out the best in people.
Planning for the memorial is still underway, with his rugby union waiting for his family to return from New Zealand.
