  1. Thanks for the update on the Rhinos game. We have been trying to get any informtion on the games being played as we have a son playing for the maples. Do you know if there is any live internet coverage during the games? Does anyone from the paper take photos that we could purchase?
If would be great to hear back from you,

    Thanks,

    Mom and Dad

  2. I don’t think a score of 10-8 was a crushing defeat. Good on Ellis for bringing ice hockey to the coast even if it is a bit staged. Go the Maples

  3. I took my 2 sons to the game and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it would have been crushing for the Canadians to lose but we were told that the Rhinos have imports from Finland and Germany on their team this year. Go Rhinos

  4. @John – If you score 8 goals and you still don’t win, that’s pretty crushing.

  5. i heard the rhinos have a canadian coach who knows his stuff, he looked like it on the bench.

  6. Thanks Ellis for the updates. Being in Canada away from our son who is playing in your league brings us a little closer when we see these updates. Thanks.

  7. Thanks for this videoclip. We are following these pages as well in Finland, and hope to see more highlights in a future. All the best to Rhinos and “Finnish Line”

  8. Great game! Australian ice hockey will benefit from a quality competition like this! Good on ’em

  9. Wheres all the players from last years Rhino team? Who is it exactly we are cheering for? This is a boggy comp

  10. Dear Mum and Dad, your son has been put into a comp comprising of the least competitive Ice hockey in Australia, you would be better off tuning into the local weather, thats more exciting.

  11. This is an embarrassment to our country, who is it we are playing against, no names on the Rhinos are listed with the Australian Ice Hockey League?

  12. Feel a bit let down now, in hindsight wish we had researched what this really was, a trumped up International what?

  13. Central Coast hockey fans know what this really is that’s why no one bothers with it. We feel so sorry for the imports who have so obviously been mislead.

  14. We have been to two games so far and there were hundreds of fans cheering the international players. That person sending all the negative comments obviously has not been to a game and is just making a nuisance of himself.
