DAY ONE WIN FOR NATASHA SCOTT AT ETTALONG FOURS

Raymond Terrace lawn bowler Natasha Scott has again proved she can match it with the best in the country.
Competing at the Ettalong Prestige Fours, Scott and her Australian teammates started day one with a convincing win over the home club.
“I think it’s intimidating for the men to go up against a full team of female … hopefully we can keep it up for the rest of the tournament.”
The national women’s fours side was invited to the event to prepare for the World Cup in New Zealand later this year.
“Being from four different states in the ladies fours team, we don’t get to play as much as we’d like to so we take full advantage of getting into these competitions and getting into these combinations before we go over there and play in the competition.”
