A 49-year-old man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a woman in Walgett.
Emergency services were called to a home on Fox Street just before eight o’clock on Friday night.
A 26-year-old woman was assisted at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to Walgett Hospital where she died a short time later.
