HOME INVASION LEAVES MAN INJURED, BEING STRUCK WITH A MACHETE
A 37-year-old man is lucky to be alive, after being struck with a machete during a home invasion overnight.
The man was allegedly attacked by two men around 2.30 in the morning, after answering the door to his home on Coronation Avenue at Glen Innes.
A mobile phone, two cameras and a small quantity of cash was stolen.
Police described the perpetrators as being of aboriginal appearance.
