DOYLE WINS IN POLAND, MOVES TO SECOND IN CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS

Australia’s Jason Doyle has won his second Speedway Grand Prix, to move to second in the world championship standings.
The Hunter rider qualified for the final in Poland alongside compatriot Chris Holder, but it was Britain’s Tai Woffinden who provided the threat.
Following several controversial races in 2016, the Polish final ran without incident, and was rated the best this season.
Doyle’s win was even more impressive considering he didn’t practice because of a back injury.
The series hits Germany on September 10.
